2022 Selkirk Biz Parade - join us on Saturday, July 16

The parade is back!

This is the first one since our last appearance in 2019! Get your lawnchairs ready...

Saturday, July 16, 2022

starts at 10:00 am - rain or shine

New route:

*starts at Manitoba Ave & Jemima St.

*east on Manitoba Ave to Main St.

*south on Main St. to Pacific Ave

*west on Pacific Ave to Sophia St.

*north on Sophia St. to Manitoba Ave

*parade disperses after the intersection at Sophia & Manitoba

We ask for the patience & understanding of the businesses & residences affected by the marshaling streets & parade route. As construction is ongoing, a temporary route was needed. A direct message will be delivered to each door to advise & inform.

A parking ban will be enforced on the parade route. Parked cars & parades are never a good combination and we have this in place to keep the route clear for the many floats (some are very large) to safely navigate on. More importantly, it keeps all spectators in clear view of the floats and for the specators sight lines.

Barricades & volunteers will be in place and must be observed & respected. Spectators will be asked to stay off of the streets during the parade - stay on the boulevards please. KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE & ON THE BOULEVARDS (NOT THE STREET) - PARTICIPANTS WILL HANDOUT GOODIES TO THE CURB.

More information to come....
